EDU 5116 STEM Methods
The goal of this course is to familiarize students with current theory and practices in science education. Students will discuss why K-8 science education is important and how the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) are constructed. We will explore science methods that support the goals of the NGSS, and practice evaluating resources for science education, including curriculum resources, units, and individual lessons.
