EDU 5112 Literacy Methods III
The third section of the course focuses on the development of writing fluency in children, moving from sentences and paragraphs to expository writing, research papers, journaling, and poetry. Strategies for writing include brainstorming, pre-writing, drafting, editing, and publishing. Emphasis is placed on vocabulary building, spelling, and handwriting. This course also offers approaches for assessing student work. This is an online, synchronous course.
