PDE 5900 Supervised Pastoral Internship I
The pastoral internship provides students with direct experience delivering pastoral care in a variety of pastoral settings including the congregation, their personal home, nursing homes, camps, workplace etc. Students will have opportunities to reflect on their work as a group and individually, in writing and in conversation with the instructor and classmates in both synchronous and asynchronous modalities. The course will draw upon theories and concepts introduced in Pastoral Care.
