MGT 5546 Professional Practice Seminar

This seminar course is designed to support graduate students in Jewish nonprofit management as they navigate their professional roles, develop leadership capacity, and clarify their career trajectories. Drawing directly from students’ workplace and supervisory experiences, the course provides structured opportunities for reflection, coaching, skill-building, and peer learning. Particular attention is given to the unique contexts, values, and challenges of Jewish nonprofit organizations. The seminar emphasizes practical tools and applied learning through readings, discussions, coaching exercises, and written reflections, students will deepen their understanding of themselves as professionals and leaders while strengthening competencies essential for success in the Jewish nonprofit sector
