PDE 603 Homiletics
The sermon, "a central expression of Jewish literature," is a unique written and spoken word form of communication that rabbis are expected to master as part of their future professional roles. The main goal of this course is to teach students the skills of sermon composition, design, and delivery and to help them cultivate the personal practices of regular Torah study and writing time that are essential to shaping one's voice as a darshan/it.
