Dabri Torah: Israeli Women Interpret the Torah -- learn and write creative beit midrash with the editor of the book. In this course we will a. talk about midrash as a phenomenon, and a feminist midrash as a case study; b. read texts, classical rabbinic and modern interpretation from the book [in Hebrew with some aid in English], c. touch occasionally on halakhic issues concerning women, d. write our own creative midrashim.
